  1. Some of George Orwell’s books are on my TBR list too, but unlike you, I haven’t read a thing from him except a chapter or so of 1984 and a short essay. Yet another reason why I need a trip to the bookstore sooner than later!

  2. Yep, Orwell is on my list too. I feel the need to read 1984 but I’m also not sure.
    As for J.M. Coetzee, I enjoyed him, but his style takes some getting used to. I would probably start with Disgrace if I were you.
