Musing Mondays : May 12

Musing Mondays is a meme hosted by Should Be Reading and it asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

Tell us what book you recently bought for yourself and why you chose that book.

I recently rushed online to buy The Unreal Elections by C S Krishna and Karthik Laxman

Buy Unreal Elections: Book

The authors are the founders of what I consider to be India’s best satire website – The Unreal Times.  Its almost as if I am addicted to it because I check the website everyday and its my go-to source for some good humor and satire.

Make sure you check out The Unreal Times and you can also check out more details of the book at Goodreads

Please leave a comment – either your take on this or a link to your own Musing Mondays post ! 🙂

  1. I’m a fan of American political satire, but have never read any based on the politics of other countries–I’m thinking that unfamiliarity may cause some disconnect with the humor?
